AceHighWine is a collection of thoughts on food, wine and poker.
Reflecting the geographic location of the blog’s author, AceHighWine has a proud West Australian bias but also contains information on other regional gastro-spots.
The blog was started after a game of cards in December 2005 and has undergone different directions and looks over the years, so please forgive some of the older posts if they look odd in the new theme introduced in September 2009. If time allows, they will be updated to comply with the blog’s new format.
AceHighWine is maintained by Max Veenhuyzen, a West Australian freelance journalist and former deputy editor at Scoop magazine who specialises in food and wine writing.
